Wyoming Elite Wrestling Camp 2018

Attached is the brochure and registration form for the Wyoming Elite Wrestling Camp which is sponsored by Lovell Wrestling in conjunction with the Lovell Recreation District.

The camp is open for students age K-12 and will take place June 21-23 at the Lovell Middle School Gym.

For this camp, the head clinicians will be Joe LeBlanc and Rulon Gardner.

LeBlanc’s coaching career includes being the head assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley from 2014-2015, head assistant coach at Brown University in Providence, RI from 2013-2014 and the assistant coach at Indiana University in Bloomington from 2012-2013.

While wrestling for the University of Wyoming, LeBlanc was a four-time NCAA Division I All-American (First and only in UW history), has the winningest record in UW history with 147 wins and was a three-time Western Wrestling Conference Champion.

Gardner was an Olympic Gold Medalist in Greco Roman in 2000, Olympic Bronze Medalist in Greco Roman in 2004 and was U.S Champion in 1995, 1997 and 2001. Also in 2001, Gardner won the James E. Sullivan Award for amateur athlete of the year and Jesse Owens Award, United States Olympic Committee Sportsman of the Year and ESPY Award for U.S. Male Olympic Athlete of the Year.
